Judy is a board member of the League of Women Voters of Marin County and chairs its Transportation/Land Use/Housing Committee. She is also the board chair of EAH Housing, a Marin-based nonprofit housing developer. She was formerly a Legal Aid attorney.
Greg serves on the boards of Sustainable San Rafael, the Federation of San Rafael Neighborhoods, the Marin Environmental Housing Collaborative, the Environmental Forum of Marin, and the Democratic Central Committee of Marin, among others. Greg is delighted to be active in CALM, as he has long been an affordable housing activist and deplores the misinformation put out in recent years by anti-housing activists.
Bill Carney is a writer and landscape architect who serves as president of Sustainable San Rafael and chair of the San Rafael Citizens Advisory Committee on Economic Development and Housing. His most recent book is Mountain, An Evolutionary Epic.
David Edmondson is founder and editor of The Greater Marin, Marin's first blog on transportation and development policy. He is currently studying for a master's degree in City and Regional Planning from Cornell University. He splits his time between Ithaca, New York, and his family home in San Anselmo.
Wendi Kallins is the founder and Program Director for Safe Routes to Schools in Marin and is founding steering committee member of the National Safe Routes to School Partnership. In 2006, Wendi was named one of 10 national Active Living Heroes, sharing the award with notables like Barack Obama and Dan Burden.
Bob is Board Chair for the Marin Workforce Housing Trust, and is on the Board of Directors for Fair Housing of Marin. He has forty years experience in public sector planning, having been Director of Environmental Management for Solano County, and Planning Director for the City of San Rafael and the Town of Corte Madera. He also served as Interim Planning Director for the Town of Fairfax and the City of Sausalito. Bob has a Master in City Planning from California State University, San Diego.
David has been engaged in community development and partnership finance for over 30 years. David is now CEO of a solar benefit company based in San Rafael. He has volunteered on the Board of the Marin Workforce Housing Trust since 2008, was added to the Board of Sustainable Marin in 2014, and assists the growing work of Citizens Climate Lobby.

Kiki La Porta’s agency, Descom Studios, has provided branding, advertising, communications, and graphic design for businesses and agencies such as MCE Clean Energy, MMWD, Marin General Hospital, Marin Workforce Housing Trust, League of Women Voters, and many others since 1995. She is a leading advocate with Sustainable Marin, Coalition for a Livable Marin (CALM), Marin Environmental Housing Collaborative (MEHC), and others, and worked on San Rafael’s Climate Change Action Plan and the MMWD Water Rates Advisory Committee.
Kiki’s personal and professional focus is promoting environmental and economic sustainability, social justice, and climate morality, and addressing social problems through wise public policy, socially responsible business, and conscious everyday decision-making.
Jeffrey Rhoads is the President of Argonaut Company, a San Rafael based planning and design consultancy for place making and the human environment. Jeff is an LEED accredited Architect.
David Schonbrunn is President of TRANSDEF.org, the Transportation Solutions Education and Defense Fund, which advocates for responding to climate change through the regional planning of transportation, land use and air quality. His top priority is replacing the current CA high-speed rail project with one that will benefit the public.
